【綜合報導】美國總統歐巴馬昨宣布將對敘利亞動武，但會先獲得國會支持才行動，等於把燙手山芋丟給國會。美眾議院議長波納（John Boehner），回應總統歐巴馬的講話，表示會在本月9日當周，商討有關對敍利亞採取的軍事行動。

路透報導，波納表示，歐巴馬可以在本月9日前把握時間向國會及國民解釋有關出兵敍利亞的細節及理由。
