在 Android Wear 推出之前，Sony 一直以來都靠自己打造自有的穿戴系統，而在經歷了兩代之後，他們總算不用孤軍奮戰，在今天的 IFA 大展上推出了採用 Android Wear 系統的 Smartwatch 3。其搭載了 1.2GHz 的四核心處理器、1.6 吋螢幕與 IP68 的耐候能力。其他規格則有 4GB ROM、512MB、420mAh 電力與 NFC 支援（這倒不意外 XD）。Sony 特別強調他們的智慧錶將在電力續航上有「更好」的表現，宣稱將提供最高兩天的使用時間與四天的待機時間。至於價位資訊方面，Smartwatch 3 將以 300 歐元的價位在秋季上市。
