Derek Jeter生涯第二糟糕的連28打數無安打終於中斷，洋基也以3比2打敗光芒。

即將在本季結束後退休的Derek Jeter，在第六局從Alex Cobb擊出安打，還好沒有在職業生涯最後一個月，留下另一個他不想要的紀錄。

Derek Jeter生涯最長的連續打數無安打，是2004年4月的34支0。

家就住在坦帕附近的Derek Jeter，最後一場在純品康納球場的比賽，4個打數1支安打，並得到1分，第七局最後一個打數滾地球出局後，全場26332名觀眾起立鼓掌。

洋基先發Brandon McCarthy，今天主投7局，只被打4支安打，失兩分拿下勝投，David Robertson本季第37次救援成功。

而光芒先發Alex Cobb連12場比賽失分在兩分以下，美聯近100年來排名第三的紀錄中斷，他今天投6局， 被打4支安打，失掉3分。
