蘋果去年6月就宣布iPhone、iPad使用的iOS會有車用版本，而且正與本田、賓士、法拉利等汽車大廠合作開發中，但遲遲沒有下文。一名軟體工程師在電腦上使用模擬器，抓出iOS 7的車用模式，顯示車上的iOS應該沒有鍵盤，靠語音輸入。

軟體開發工程師托頓史密斯抓出車用iOS 7的畫面上傳YouTube，影片中左邊是電腦模擬的車上螢幕，與右邊的iPhone連動。地圖一打開就幾乎佔據車上的全螢幕，有一些觸控選項，也能按麥克風圖示進行語音輸入。史密斯表示，車用iOS應可支援多種解析度的車用螢幕，但可能只支援單點觸控。

蘋果先前預計今年可以看到裝有iOS的汽車上路。但有網友酸：「還真是我們最需要的功能。在車上裝蘋果地圖？絕對迷路。」（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
