小威奪下第6座澳網女單冠軍

2015年的第一個大滿貫澳網女單冠軍戰，由世界排名分別為第1和第2的小威廉斯與莎拉波娃對決，小威廉斯靠著強勢發球和屢次破發，拿下個人生涯第6個澳網女單冠軍。　

莎娃雖在第2盤化解小威的冠軍點，把比賽逼入搶7，雙方幾度互破，小威最後在第3個賽末點成功拿下，最終以6：3、7：6（7：5）奪冠。

小威廉斯發出單場16記愛司，莎娃只有5記，1發進球率也是小威佔優勢，1發得分率更高達8成5，成為小威奪冠關鍵。
