野原新之助的招牌『屁屁舞』和『大象歌』可能將無緣印尼螢幕，因為印尼媒體監管部門認定《蠟筆小新》兒童不宜，責令電視台作出刪節或在深夜播出。

根據中國青年網報導，印尼廣播委員會本周把這部日本長篇動畫定級為『注意』，次於『危險』。委員阿加莎·利利告訴法新社記者，一些搞笑場景對兒童而言『不雅和不妥』，雖然暴露身體某些部位的內容『並非完全屬於色情，但是多少帶有色情，可以與色情聯繫起來』。

播出這部系列片的印尼雄鷹電視台已經收到廣播委員會發出的警告信，表示將給『令人不安』的內容作模糊處理或者乾脆刪掉。
