蘇格蘭拒獨 女王勉團結

在蘇格蘭公投結果反對獨立後，英國女王伊麗莎白二世（Queen Elizabeth II）今天呼籲她的臣民，「本於相互尊重和支持的精神」，團結在一起。

目前正在蘇格蘭巴爾莫勒爾（Balmoral）的伊麗莎白女王打破對公投的沉默。這項公投一度威脅在她治理下的300年聯盟。

女王在白金漢宮發表的聲明中說：「如我對蘇格蘭人民的瞭解，我毫不懷疑，蘇格蘭人如同全英國其他人一樣，能夠在強烈表示所持的意見後，本於相互尊重和支持的精神，團結在一起。」

她說：「今天對蘇格蘭和和其也地區的許多人而言，在家庭、朋友和鄰居間，難免會有強烈的感受和鮮明的情緒。」

她接著說：「當然，這是強大的民主傳統本質，但我毫不懷疑，這些情緒將因理解別人的感受而緩和。」

蘇格蘭選民在這次獨立公投中，反對獨立者占55%，支持獨立者占45%。
