攝影抒發思鄉情 記錄一幕幕故事

從小在美國舊金山讀書的蔡安妮，幾年前開始接觸攝影，愛上用影像記錄生活，進而深入品味舊金山，意外發現像是台北市曾致贈給舊金山的「金門亭」等動人故事；她拿出43幅攝影作品於羅東聖母醫院展出，義賣所得捐給院方蓋老人醫療大樓。

民國86年，在舊金山唸初中的蔡安妮，十分想念台灣，她的母親安慰她說，「如果想念家人、朋友，就看看大海，我們就在海的另一邊！」自此她經常在海邊散步，意外從別人口中聽到，台北市曾致贈「金門亭」給舊金山，如今仍佇立在舊金山公園的一隅。

「金門亭」象徵著2城市的友誼，卻少有人知道，蔡安妮用影像將它的美捕捉下來；走訪知名景點「金門大橋」，才發現全民曾抵押家產，以及許多亞洲人資助，政府才順利蓋橋，種種故事讓她認為，「拍攝美麗景致，重要的是背後的故事！」
