台北市警察局元旦公布《台北市警察局執行集會遊行與媒體協調之工作守則》，從2015年1月1日起，將在執行大型集會遊行現場設置「媒體採訪區」及「意見表達區（抗議區）」，在現場狀況平和時，以不干涉採訪自由及警方認為設置採訪區是要「保護媒體人身安全和採訪權」；在執行淨空或勸離行動前，則由現場指揮官廣播，並舉牌請「媒體進採訪區」。【點此觀看完整英文字幕】

Officers should deal with the media and assemblies and parades.
