　　Warner Bros. Home Entertainment 宣佈，以人氣奇幻小說「魔戒」（指輪物語）為題材改編的 PS4／PS3／Xbox One 版第 3 人稱視點動作 RPG 冒險新作《魔多闇影》（シャドウ・オブ・モルドール）上市日期確定為 2014 年 12 月 11 日，售價均為 7,600 日幣，官方並公佈最新影片，介紹本作最大特色的「Nemesis 系統」（ネメシスシステム）。


　　本作初回特典為主角 Talion（タリオン）角色造型及收錄了「力量挑戰測試模式」（テスト・オブ・パワーチャレンジモード）的「黑暗遊俠包 DLC 下載碼」（ダークレンジャーパックDLCコード）。




　　本作將以位於中土被群山環繞的國家「魔多」為舞台，描述家人及自己均遭到冥王索倫（サウロン）大軍殺害的遊俠 Talion，藉由幽靈之力潛入化為荒涼大地前的魔多，展開復仇計劃的過程。遊戲搭載了獨家開發，隨著玩家行動對敵人個性及心境產生影響的「Nemesis」系統，讓單人模式更具個人特色。
