奈及利亞出現首宗伊波拉病例

非洲奈及利亞證實一名由多哥首都洛美(Lome)飛往拉各斯(Lagos)的利比亞男子，感染伊波拉病毒(Ebola)死亡，讓這個有超過2千萬人口的城市，受到世紀病毒威脅。

奈及利亞衛生部長卓胡(Onyebuchi Chukwu)說，該名男子周日飛抵拉各斯後暈倒，送到醫院隔離，周五不治，其血液樣本證實含有伊波拉病毒。不過拉各斯市的衛生專員另行舉行記者會，聲稱有關檢驗仍有待核實。

若這名利比亞人證實死於伊波拉病毒，則是尼日利亞首宗病例。伊波拉病毒已在幾內亞、利比亞和獅子山共和國造成660人死亡。

伊波拉被用來稱呼一群屬於伊波拉病毒屬下數種病毒的通用術語，可導致伊波拉病毒出血熱，罹患此病可致人於死，包含數種不同程度的症狀，包括噁心、嘔吐、腹瀉、膚色改變、全身痠痛、體內出血、體外出血、發燒等。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
