高教工會：永達尚欠薪1.5億元

永達技術學院校方日前表示，1月7日已把積欠教職員工的薪水還清。台灣高等教育產業工會與高教工會永達分部今發表聲明指出，還清欠薪並非事實，校方仍欠教職員1億5000萬元薪資；校方意圖將11個科系減為5個科系，決議過程充滿瑕疵，且無安置教職員計畫，教育部不應核准。
 
高教工會表示，截至目前為止，校方陸續償還過去8個月的欠薪約3000萬元，但仍有從2008年起的片面減薪約1億5000萬元未償還，而且校方否認此事，當然沒有還款計畫。高教工會質疑，永達大幅刪減科系只是為了減少人事支出，教育部不應核准裁減案。（蔡永彬／台北報導）
