學C語言 C++ 有沒有什麼直接用途?

大學電機系開的"計算機程式設計"多是教C/C++
一開始的學習內容大概就是印出XX符號判斷輸入的數字是否為質數
求兩數的最大公因數等等.....
請問學完如此的課程內容後能用C做出什麼東西來嗎?
還是學C只是再學習其他東西的基礎而已?
