阿布杜拉國王駕崩菲政府哀悼

沙烏地阿拉伯國王阿布杜拉（King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz）駕崩，菲律賓政府表示哀悼，並感謝他生前對菲律賓的友善以及對菲勞的寬厚。

菲律賓外交部透過聲明向沙烏地阿拉伯政府與人民表示「最深切的哀悼與慰問。」

聲明形容阿布杜拉國王為「英勇、慷慨且有遠見的領袖，為教育及基礎建設帶來政策改革。」

菲律賓外交部也讚揚他是「對抗極端主義的鬥士」。

另方面，總統府馬拉坎南宮副發言人華爾地（Abigail Valte）說，阿布杜拉國王關心菲律賓政府關切的事務，協助改善了當地菲人的福祉，「特別是多次寬赦了因涉罪被審的菲人。」

此外，華爾地說，菲律賓與沙烏地阿拉伯就是在阿布杜拉國王的任內，達成家佣就業合約的標準化。

阿布杜拉國王享壽90歲，王儲沙爾曼親王（Crown Prince Salman）繼承了王位。
