嚴防伊波拉　澳洲8月就已啟動機場篩檢

為對抗西非持續延燒的伊波拉疫情，目前大約有12名澳洲醫務和志工在西非疫區工作，澳洲政府也採取一系列預防性措施防止伊波拉病毒進入澳洲。 　 　

從8月初起澳洲開始檢查從西非疫區國家來的旅客，詢問他們是否曾與伊波拉患者接觸，是否參加過伊波拉死者的葬禮，在過去24小時是否發燒等。兩個多月來，澳洲有關部門在機場已檢查了700多名來自疫區國家的旅客。到目前為止，共有11人接受伊波拉病毒檢測，尚未發現有人感染。 　　

為有效防範伊波拉病毒，澳洲正與美國、英國及其他歐洲國家商談，進一步合作強化措施。澳洲血液製品與疫苗製造商正研發治療伊波拉病毒的藥物。（國際中心／綜合報導）
