本報訊

駐紐約台北經文處籌劃「第一屆紐約台灣建築新人聯展」，做為紐約地區台灣建築人的建築思考與論述平台。經文處長章文樑強調，這是一項新嘗試，期盼聯展激發留學生創作思維。

台北經文處教育組主任張佳琳期待聯展除了促進建築藝術設計領域台灣留學生與學界、業界的交流外，也呼應台北市主辦2016「世界設計之都」活動。

台灣建築新人聯展將邀集大紐約地區各校台灣留學生組成團隊策展，從19日起在經文處舉行一週。聯展主題定為「移植」（transplant），詮釋台灣建築人思考。

19日開幕當天下午，還將邀請美國雪城大學建築學院院長史必克斯（Michael Speaks）及台灣知名建築師姚仁喜舉行專題演講；另外，賴彥吉（Jimenez Lai）、 Jennifer W. Leung、謝泊欣（Rosalyne Shieh）、吳嘉華（Jenny Wu）等4位美國年輕建築圈最成功的台裔建築師也將與史必克斯進行專業論壇。

台灣建築新人聯展由27名大紐約地區的台灣建築新人參展，包括古柏聯合藝術學院（Cooper Union）、普拉特藝術學院（Pratt Institute）、雪城大學、哥倫比亞大學、南加州建築學院（Sci-Arc）、密西根大學的在校生或畢業生，水準相當高。(中央社)
