電視台未報佔中新聞？　公會：已有報導

香港展開民主抗爭運動，國際媒體高度關注，但台灣學者昨陸續質疑台灣電視台未詳加報導，聯合沉默或輕輕帶過。國家通訊傳播委員會(NCC)今表示，民主社會，新聞議題與素材選擇，是屬於新聞媒體的編採自主，NCC尊重，但對於國際新聞的質與量，NCC也都一直鼓勵建議電視台多製播國際新聞。
 
衛星廣播電視事業商業同業公會自律委員會主任委員陳依玫表示，這屬於各家電視台自主判斷空間，就她個人觀察，昨晚上11時左右，各台都普遍大篇幅報導，甚至也派台北主播趕往現場，至於昨天白天，因為周日各頻道都是排播已錄製節目，因佔中事件提早爆發，在規劃以外，據她所知，其實許多電視台對於香港10月1日活動都有高規格規劃，這次報導如果有失誤，都在盡力補救。（徐毓莉／台北報導）
