法前總沙柯吉復出政壇　擬角逐UMP主席

法國前總統現年59歲的沙柯吉（Nicolas Sarkozy）19日在臉書上宣佈競選法國人民運動聯盟主席（UMP），一旦當選將能角逐2017年總統大位。法國媒體稱，沙柯吉重返政壇，並邁出可能再次入主愛麗舍宮(Elysee Palace)的第一步。

沙柯吉當天下午在其臉書和推特上發表復出的消息，表示經過長考後，他決定應該給法國人民一個新的政治選擇，並認為自己不能漠視法國目前面臨的問題，誓言徹底改造人民運動聯盟，他覺得現在法國瀰漫著不信任的氣氛，這種缺乏希望的狀態需要改變。

沙柯吉2007年至2012年曾任法國總統。在擔任法國總統前，他於2004年11月28日當選法國人民運動聯盟主席。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
