中信兄弟積極補強戰力，領隊李文彬2日說與倪福德有關於加盟的合約協商，雙方差距已愈來愈小，希望下周就可以簽下倪福德；同時李文彬也證實，倪福德的月薪絕對超過30萬元，只是激勵獎金要怎麼算？還要再談。

倪福德目前在獨立聯盟打拚，台北時間2日他再次先發，投7局被擊出7支安打包括2支全壘打，失3分，三振3次、沒保送，與勝敗無關。

兄弟若要在今年用到倪福德，就必須在8月31日之前與倪仔簽約，因此兄弟球團正積極與他談合約，不過李文彬2日也說，球團暫時傾向不跟倪福德簽複數年約，但這一切還要再談。
