嘉義縣荷苞嶼環境戶外教室今成立

嘉義縣環境保護局在焚化爐旁設置的荷苞嶼人工溼地，不只是淨化荷苞嶼大排的污水，改善嘉義縣主要河川朴子溪的水質，優美的人工溼地也成為新興休閒據點。今天環保局在溼地園區新設地下水標準監測井，讓民眾了解地下水品質以及土壤是否遭汙染，讓荷苞嶼人工濕地生態區，成為「荷苞嶼環境戶外教室」，提供戶外生態教育和教學。

嘉義縣環境保護局表示，目前全縣有20餘處地下水監測井，監測結果水質都在標準範圍內。
