氰化物毒死41頭大象　6男遭逮

【綜合報導】辛巴威警方稍早宣布，針對西部大城布拉瓦優(Bulawayo)到西南部黃格國家公園(Hwange National Park)，最近連續發生高達41頭大象遭到氰化物毒死的案件，已經逮捕6名嫌犯。他們涉嫌在大象飲水的水池內傾倒大量有劇毒的氰化物，大象引水後就倒地死亡，嫌犯幾天後再開車回來取走值錢的象牙等物。

當地保育專家表示，這樣的毒殺方法不只大象遭殃，會在遭投毒水池飲水的動物很多，只要喝了幾乎必定死亡，另外還會有數以百計啃食大象屍體的其他動物，也會因為吃到殘留的氰化物而死。
