好萊塢巨星布萊德彼特（Brad Pitt）有德國血統，而他的德語也挺溜。德國語言刊物「德國語言世界」的2014年「德語捍衛者」提名名單，彼特是8位被提名人之一。

「德國語言世界」（Deutsche Sprachwelt）從2000年開始就頒獎給對推廣德語有功的人或是機構。每年底在網站公佈提名名單，讓人們上網票選。過去幾年獲獎者包括國政界人士、大學校長、媒體和地方政府，並未限定是德國人。

根據德國媒體報導，布萊德彼特曾多次到德國拍片，他在接受訪問時會秀德語，而且表示，他很喜歡德語，感覺是美麗且有旋律感的語言。

「德語捍衛者」（Sprachwahrer）今年獲得提名的，除了彼特還包括力促歐洲聯盟將德語列為官方語言的德國國會副議長辛哈莫(Johannes Singhammer）、德國民謠樂團、社會學者以及奧地利的小城威爾斯（Wels）。(中央社)
