刑警薛貞國遭圍毆致死案，主嫌曾威豪及女友劉芯彤今天凌晨主動投案，警方凌晨2時許將他們帶回台北市信義警分局偵訊。警方專案小組在薛貞國死亡後24小時宣布破案。

警方表示，薛貞國13日晚間和另一名同小隊莊姓隊員相約至信義區附近餐敘，因莊警發現有大批年輕人聚集夜店外，疑似意圖前往鬧事，立即打電話通報薛貞國。

警方說，該間夜店在13日凌晨曾發生打架事件，但因雙方不願提告，並未處理後續，薛警和莊警兩人研判可能會有後續類似狀況發生，才在14日凌晨赴夜店了解狀況。

警方查出，曾威豪與劉姓女子及4名友人，13日清晨前往該夜店消費時，和隔壁酒客發生爭執，夜店保安出面制止時，被曾威豪打傷，曾威豪隨後被請出店外。

專案小組懷疑，曾威豪14日清晨找來50多名幫派份子，打算前往夜店找保安尋仇，薛貞國在莊姓員警的通報下，兩人前往夜店了解狀況，才剛到一樓，就被一群人圍毆並拖出夜店，過程中，薛警遭圍毆致死，莊警頭部受傷自行就醫。

警方14日陸續傳喚、逮捕10多名涉案人士。在專案小組策動下，曾威豪及女友劉芯彤主動投案，警方凌晨2時許帶回信義分局偵訊。(中央社)
