告別白鐵仔 光華號風光畢業

台鐵光華號列車俗稱「白鐵仔」，昨天是它在花東線服役的最後一天，末班車晚間七點半開到花蓮站，台鐵舉行盛大退役紀念儀式，昔日的退休司機員、光華號列車小姐都出席參加。「白鐵仔」除役，以後區間車接駁任務將由電聯車接棒。

DR2700上路初期以「光華號」為名行駛於西部幹線，民國48年前從日本引進台灣時，是台灣陸地上最快的交通工具，創下當時台北─高雄間4小時45分最快行車紀錄，民國75年西部鐵路電氣化後，「白鐵仔」退居東部成為普通車。

花蓮運務段長張建曆說，「白鐵仔」退役後15輛車廂將保存在台東，其中狀況較好的4輛將編成車組，定期在鐵路節、特殊狀況時動態展示行駛。（記者王錦義、黃立翔）
