黃金期貨周三連續第六天上漲。美國第一季經濟緊縮幅度大於原先預期，美元因而疲弱，支撐了黃金上漲。

紐約8月黃金上漲1.30美元，或1%，收於每盎司1322.60美元。7月白銀收高7美分，或0.4%，至每盎司21.12美元。

過去五個交易日，黃金上漲了近4%，周三，黃金一度回檔整理。

美元兌主要外幣轉弱，加上債券價格上漲，支撐了黃金走高。今日GDP數據公布前，黃金走低約報1315美元。GDP公布後，黃金隨即削減跌幅，上漲至1320美元。

分析師說，黃金上漲主要係因空頭回補，因為GDP數據不佳，主要係因天氣嚴寒。預期第二季GDP將轉佳。

其他金屬交易中，7月銅收於每磅3.17美元，上漲近2美分，或0.5%。

7月白金上漲1.30美元，或0.1%，至每盎司1473.20美元。9月鈀金上漲2.85美元，或0.3%，至每盎司833.25美元。
